National Overdose Prevention and Education Corporation (N.O.P.E.) is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation.
We understand that the overdose epidemic is complex and extensive, and that it will take an aggressive effort to ensure that science-based solutions reach those who need it most (our young people.) We will develop and implement evidence-based educational programs grounded in science and technology.
Who we are
N.O.P.E. is a team of seasoned, experienced business professionals that is taking a strategic, contemporary, and scientific approach to help reduce deaths from drug overdose through creating partnerships, advocacy, and community engagement, and to develop new technologies and approaches that impact reversing the trends of drug overdose. Join us in our mission to build a better solution to mitigating this drug overdose epidemic.
Our hearts go out to those families who have been affected by this horrific drug overdose epidemic. We are empathetic to this dangerous problem and understand that acting with passion and knowledge is vital to preventing further harm to our young people. The N.O.P.E. team will dedicate our efforts with action to provide measurable results.

David Pratt is a leader and business management specialist with 40+ years’ experience in the telecommunications industry: nationwide, strategic planning, project development, disaster recovery operations, team deployment, building and development.
“I will leverage my business experience, networks, and knowledge, to impact the substance use and overdose epidemic with science-based strategies by developing systems that leverage technology to combat this plague.”

N.O.P.E. is founded by individuals with both business and law enforcement backgrounds. We are pragmatic, non-judgmental, and educated about this problem. Our only goal is to prevent deaths by drug overdose and change the culture concerning substance use. We will work with anyone who shares our goals.
